Heap Slime resembles a puddle of inky water. Characters looking into the glimmering surface must make a save versus paralyze. Failing characters enter a mild trance and begin to approach the slime. They have two more chances to make their saving throw. Characters who fail all three, step onto the surface of the slime. The slime extends quickly up their leg, excreting a powerful acid. In one round the character is fully dissolved and consumed. Succeeding characters are able to break the trance.
