Red Dahlia Dragons are a large variety of red dragon. These dreaded archfiends have durable skin around their necks, which can fold forward to protect the head. When folded back, thus exposing the head, the protective skin somewhat resembles the petals of a Dahlia flower, thus the beast’s name. Red Dahlia Dragons are always chaotic and exceptionally greedy. They tend to live in or on mountains and retain large numbers of supplicants to do their bidding. Each Red Dahlia Dragon may cast each of the following spells once each day: Shield, Detect Invisibility, Mirror Image, Web, Protection from Magic Missiles, and Dispel Magic. They may use their breath attack once per hour. The flame breath attack is cone-shaped with a 90’ length and 30’ width.

This monster is from my recent adventure module, THE BLASPHEMOUS BREWERY OF PILZ:  EXTRA STOUT EDITION!
